ANTONY CEDEX, France -- June 25, 2008 -- Today, Oralair Grasses was approved by the Paul Ehrlich Institute to alleviate symptoms of allergic rhinoconjunctivitis in adults.

The agent is a dissolving tablet with demonstrated efficacy in allergic rhinoconjunctivitis to grass pollen in the first season, throughout the pollen season, and at the pollen peak. This product is effective in poly- and monosensitised patients, as well as asthmatic patients. It is effective against individual symptoms and, in particular, in nasal congestion and watery eyes.

This agent is a pre-coseasonal treatment. It must be started 4 months prior to pollen season, maintained throughout the season, then stopped and restarted the following season.
