BOSTON -- May 30, 2008 -- According to a study led by investigators at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, Massachusetts, premenopausal breast cancer survivors treated with chemotherapy following surgery were more likely to have diminished ovarian reserve compared with women who have never had breast cancer. These findings will be presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) 44th Annual Meeting, May 30 to June 3, in Chicago, Illinois.
