How do I get a DocGuide account so that I can use the DocGuide iPhone application?
When you open the DocGuide iPhone application, tap on the "Register" button and follow the instructions to activate your DocGuide membership.

How do I email a DocGuide article from the DocGuide iPhone application?
When you are looking at an article using the DocGuide iPhone application, a pencil button is located on the top-right of your screen. This button allows you to email the abstract to a colleague's email address.

Can I post a comment on an article?
When you are looking at an article using the DocGuide iPhone application, a pencil button is located on the top-right of your screen. This button allows you to post a comment about the abstract for other physician members of the DocGuide community, whether they are using DocGuide from an iPhone or their computer.

How can I customize My Topics and My Sources?
The "My Topics" list is made up of your customized list of conditions and drugs while the "My Sources" list is made up of your customized list of medical meetings and journals.
- In the DocGuide iPhone application, click on one of the black "My Topics" or "My Sources" buttons along the bottom of your screen
- Tap on the "Edit" button on the top right of the screen.
- To remove topics and sources from your customized lists, tap on the red "x". The list will be updated.
- To add topics and sources to your customized lists, type a topic or source into the box under the green "add" button and click the button below it (e.g., to add a condition, tap in the box under the green "Add a Condition" button and click on the "Add this Condition" button). The list will be updated.

Your customized list of topics and sources are the same in the DocGuide iPhone application and the DocGuide Web site.

How can I invite a colleague on the app?
- In the DocGuide iPhone application, click on the black "Colleagues" button along the bottom of your screen
- Tap on the "Edit" button on the top right of the screen.
- To remove Colleagues from your list, tap on the red "x". The list will be updated.
- To add Colleagues, type the full email address of the person you would like to add to your colleague's list into the box under the green "add" button and click the "Add this colleague" button below it. The person will be added to your list of colleagues' list or, if the person is not yet a member of DocGuide, he or she can be invited to join DocGuide and your list of Colleagues.
If I add a Colleague from within the DocGuide iPhone application, will I have to add that Colleague again on the DocGuide Web site?
Your list of Colleagues is the same in the DocGuide iPhone application and the DocGuide Web site.

When will new articles be loaded into my iPhone? When will my Colleagues' new activities be displayed?
When you open the DocGuide iPhone application, it will start by displaying twenty articles in the article list. In order to access more articles than the ones that are currently displayed, scroll down to the bottom of the list and click on "Load more articles". This will load an additional twenty articles, or as many as are available to be displayed.
In order to see newer articles and colleague activity, you must exit the application and re-open it. A "Refresh" feature is planned for a later release.

Can I update the information displayed in my DocGuide profile? Can I change my email address or password?
These features are not yet supported in the current version of the DocGuide iPhone application. Please visit http://beta.docguide.com in order to update your DocGuide profile information, your email address or your password.
