        news Malignant Melanoma Associated with a Blue Naevus: A Case Report

        Summary points:A 35-year-old male presents with an asymptomatic pigmented lesion that had been slowly progressing for 1 year. The lesion was an irregular, oval, blue-brown plaque 5.5 x 3.3 mm in size. This case describes the dermoscopic examination and explains the need for histopathological examination to confirm the diagnosis. The biopsy findings and treatment plan are outlined. The authors discuss the clinical and pathological significance of melanocytic naevi.
