      Summary points:A 52-year-old female presents with pain and a palpable mass in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen 18 months after completing treatment for ovarian carcinoma. Computed tomography, hepatectomy, and immunohistochemical examination are described; images provided. The authors discuss the need to consider primary liver tumours in the differential diagnosis in patients with ovarian cancer who subsequently present with liver tumours.
