      news Bilateral Swollen Eyelids Occurring During Adjuvant Treatment with Tamoxifen for Early Breast Cancer

      Summary points:A 56-year-old female, who had received 7 months of adjuvant treatment with tamoxifen for carcinoma of the breast, presents with progressive oedema of the eyelids of both eyes. Histology and magnetic resonance imaging are described; images provided. The authors discuss the differential diagnosis of swollen eyelids, and orbital metastases as the first sign of metastasised breast cancer.
