        news Kaposi Sarcoma in a Patient with Giant Cell Arteritis

        Summary points:A 79-year-old presents with pink, painless skin nodules on the chest wall and thigh that started while the patient was participating in a double-blind trial of an anti-tumour-necrosis-factor medication for giant-cell arteritis. This case report describes the biopsy and virology screen findings and treatment outcome. The authors make a case for the risks associated with corticosteroid immunosuppression, particularly in elderly patients.
