| Summary points: | A 55-year-old presents with new onset hematuria, easy bruising, and jaundice, as well as fevers, nausea with vomiting, and fatigue, approximately 6 months after starting bupropion for smoking cessation. This case report describes the patient's history and clinical presentation, laboratory investigations, liver biopsy, treatment approaches, and outcome, and includes images. The authors review the literature and recommend strategies for management of patients with drug-induced liver injury. |
