        news Surgical Treatment of a Giant Tibial High-Grade Mixofibrosarcoma with Preservation of Limb Function: A Case Report

        Summary points:An 84-year-old male presents with a large mass in the anteromedial side of tibial mid-diaphysis. X-rays, magnetic resonance imaging, fine needle aspiration biopsy, histology, and computed tomography are described; images provided. The authors discuss effective treatment of a giant myxofibrosarcoma, including wide resection and reconstruction of the remaining soft-tissue defect with a micro-vascular flap.
