        Summary points:An 81-year-old presents with unilateral tearing 4 years after undergoing combined cataract surgery and fornix-based trabeculectomy with mitomycin C. This case report describes the clinical examination and surgery, histopathological findings, and outcome, and includes a variety of images. The authors discuss the management of dissecting blebs and their pathophysiology.
