        news The Sexually Active Adolescent Who is Uncertain about Using Contraception

        Summary points:A sexually-active 15-year-old, who has a 13-month-old child, multiple partners, and has never used contraception. Her grandmother wants a contraceptive to be prescribed for the teenager. This case report is presented in clinical case format and reviews the considerations a clinician might have when counselling an adolescent who is accompanied by an adult on whom she relies.
