Presented by:Internal Medicine / Fumiko Kawasaki, Shinji Kamei, Fuminori Tatsumi, Sumiko Hamamoto, Masashi Shimoda, Kazuhito Tawaramoto, Makoto Shigeto, Yukiko Kanda, Mitsuru Hashiramoto, Michihiro Matsuki and Kohei Kaku
Summary points:The authors present a case of a 29-year-old woman diagnosed with type 1 diabetes who received insulin aspart and NPH insulin (Novolin). On day 22, she experienced leg oedema and right abdominal pain. Serum hepatobiliary enzyme levels were markedly elevated and computed tomography revealed gallbladder oedema.
