        Summary points:A 42-year-old with history of endometriosis treated by oestrogen therapy discontinued 12 years previously presents with left upper abdominal distention, early satiety, and discomfort. This case report describes the diagnostic investigations, surgical treatment, and histological findings, and includes some images. The authors review the literature on the diagnosis of haemangiomas and their treatment.
