        news Superior Dislocation of the Patella: A Case Report

        Summary points:Four months following femorotibial and femoropatellar arthroscopy with debridement of the medial meniscus, synovectomy, closed tibial osteotomy, and osthosynthesis with a plate, a 52-year-old woman presents to the emergency room after a sudden movement involving hyperextension, which resulted in pain and an inability to move the operated knee. Radiographs, orthopaedic reduction, and post-procedure outcomes are described; images provided. The authors describe the dislocation of the patella associated with tibal valgus osteotomy, an uncommon condition.
