        Summary points:A 60-year-old female presents for evaluation of a dilated main pancreatic duct. Endoscopic ulstrasonography, multidetector-row computed tomography, magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography, cytology, and histology are described; images provided. The authors discuss the need for pancreatic juice cytology in cases where pancreatic duct stenosis is present, regardless of identification of any tumorous lesion by diagnostic imaging.
