He felt generally unwell and was sweating, but there were no other symptoms. Medical history, drug use, current prescribed medications, physical examination, laboratory studies, echocardiogram, chest radiograph, and treatment are described. The authors discuss the rare condition of methaemoglobinaemia induced in this case by cocaine use.
