| Summary points: | A 72-year-old presents with a 4-year history of asymptomatic, erythematous plaques on the face that had begun to involve the neck and posterior scalp that did not respond to metronidazole, topical glucocorticoids and oral acetretin (Soriatane®). This case report describes the histological findings and diagnosis and treatment, and includes various images. The authors discuss the clinical presentation of mycosis fungoides, treatment challenges, and prognosis. |
