| Summary points: | A 36-year-old female presents with a history of daily panic attacks and daily dizziness episodes, both contributing to the development of agoraphobia. This case report describes physical examination; laboratory findings; results from the Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview Brazilian version, the Dizziness Handicap Inventory, and the Hamilton Scale for Anxiety; treatment; and outcome. The authors discuss anxiety disorders, panic disorder, and anxiety with vestibular dysfunction. |
