      news Brucella Bacteremia in a Recipient of an Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant: A Case Report

      Summary points:A 20-year-old presents with pyrexia in addition to neutropenia and mild thrombocytopenia 112 days after receiving a successful allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplant for severe aplastic anaemia. This case report describes the laboratory findings, treatment, and outcome. The authors discuss the epidemiology of human brucellosis, clinical manifestations, possible complications, and effective treatments.
