| Summary points: | A 38-year-old heavy smoker presents with chest pain, high-grade fever, and a skin rash of 2 weeks duration, as well as arthralgias that were partially responsive to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and 6-month history of skin eruptions on the elbows and lower extremities. This case report describes the patient's history and clinical presentation, diagnostic investigations, and final treatment, and includes images. The authors discuss the pathophysiologies of pulmonary sarcoidosis and psoriasis vulgaris and the incidence of their occurrence in the same patient. |
