        Summary points:A 73-year-old presents with an 18-year history of an intermittent recalcitrant and growing rash over the entire vulva, groin and perineum, accompanied by vulvar burning and dispareunia that recurred seasonally, becoming more irritating during warm weather. This case report describes the clinical presentation and diagnosis, and includes several images. The authors discuss the pathophysiology of Hailey-Hailey disease.
