      Summary points:A 62-year-old with gastroesophageal reflux history presents with epigastric pain and fullness, dysphagia, anorexia, and weight loss. This case report describes the findings from esophagogastroscopy, biopsy, contrast-enhanced computed tomography, and histopathology, the treatment and outcome, and includes various images. The authors review the most common symptoms of small cell oesophageal carcinoma in patients with Barrett's oesophagus and effective treatment protocols.
