A Dramatic, Objective Antiandrogen Withdrawal Response: Case Report and Review of the Literature

Summary points:	A 75-year-old with prostate adenocarcinoma treated by complete androgen blockade with leuprolide and bicalutamide presents with increasing PSA levels. This case report describes the history, the effects of bicalutamide discontinuation, and outcome, and includes some images. The authors discuss prior case reports and clinical studies in antiandrogen withdrawal.
