        news Reversible Cerebellar Syndrome Caused by Metronidazole

        Summary points:The authors discuss 2 cases of reversible cerebellar syndrome caused by metronidazole. The first in a 54-year-old presenting with a 3-day history of difficulty speaking and an unsteady gait after having a generalised tonic-clonic seizure, and the second in a 72-year-old woman presenting with pain in her left leg and flank from an intra-abdominal abscess. Both patients improved after discontinuation of metronidazole therapy.
