        news Bilateral Femoral Neck Fractures Due to Transient Osteoporosis of Pregnancy: A Case Report

        Summary points:A 34-year-old presents at 34 weeks of pregnancy with bilateral hip pain associated with inability to bear weight or walk. This case report describes the radiological findings, surgical findings, the postoperative course, and outcome, and includes a series of images. Also discussed are the pathophysiology of transient osteoporosis of pregnancy and the role of magnetic resonance imaging in the evalution of hip pain in pregnancy.
