        news Infective Endocarditis Caused by Staphylococcus Aureus in a Patient with Atopic Dermatitis: A Case Report

        Summary points:A 30-year-old with history of atopic dermatitis and well-controlled bronchial asthma presents with fever, a generalised skin rash, malaise, and poor appetite of 1-week's duration, as well as a brief period of confusion the day prior to admission. This case report details the history, clinical presentation, laboratory investigations, treatment, and outcome, and includes some images. The authors review the neurological complications of infective endocarditis and review the literature.
