Regular exercise and weight loss reduce blood pressure and improve left ventricular hypertrophy in mildly hypertensive people who are sedentary and overweight.
Specialists at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and Duke University Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina, United States, noted that there was more illness and death among hypertensive people with hypertrophy and concentric remodeling of the left ventricle.
